Members of the “Friends” met up with Christopher Timothy and members of the cast and Company of “The Diary of Anne Frank” in the Theatre Bar after the first night’s performance on Tuesday 1st May. The play received a very warm reception from a large and appreciative audience and has another three weeks remaining of its tour. Harry Lederman, in welcoming the Company, said how important it was that stories such as this continue to be told so that future generations are made aware of how much suffering took place during the Second World War and how good it was to see such a talented Company on the stage of the Devonshire Park Theatre.  He wished the Company well during their stay in Eastbourne and for the rest of their tour. In response, Christopher Timothy thanked Harry for his warm welcome and the “Friends” for their continued hospitality.
